Black pearl to Iron Spring Farm in America
The six-year-old KWPN stallion Kaiman (Dark Pleasure x Gribaldi) has been sold to the American Iron Spring Farm. The company writes on their website: "We are excited to announce a new Iron Spring Farm stallion, Kaiman!"
Bred by J.A. and B. Naber of Vredenheim, Kaiman was in the champion's ring at the 2018 KWPN Stallion Show. The beautiful black stallion was designated premium at the 2018 KWPN stallion show and finished third overall with 84 total points at the 2019 KWPN stallion performance test in Ermelo. For all elements he received no less than an 8.5, except for the walk, for which he received an 8.
Kaiman's dressage talent came to the fore in recent years. The stallion finished fourth in the finals of the VSN Trophy for three-year-old dressage horses. Under Dinja van Liere Kaiman was selected for the World Championships for young dressage horses. Unfortunately the World Championships did not take place because of the corona crisis. The pair was also placed for the final of the PAVO Cup which was cancelled for the same reason.
"Kaiman gives a very nice feeling under the saddle," says rider Dinja van Liere. "He is very sweet and always focused on his rider. I think the canter is his best gait and he already does very nice changes."
Kaiman is known for his good attitude, friendly nature and willingness to work. "In the barn he is very cuddly and relaxed. He likes sugar cubes and attention," explains van Liere.
Kaiman remains with Dinja van Liere in training and he is also available through Reesink Stallions for breeding. Just like his stablemate Lowlands who was previously purchased by Iron Spring Farm.
