As an ideal example of the modern dressage horse, Fiji impresses with his outstanding type and fine, elastic movement. Fiji is a chic, large-framed stallion with excellent basic gaits, showing ample freedom of the shoulder and power. In 2023, the For Romance I son was approved by the Oldenburg Verband, recognised by Westphalia and Hanover, and has since also been approved by the KWPN.

At the Oldenburg Stallion Licensing 2024 in Vechta, he was awarded the Bronze Hauptprämien winner title. In 2024, the stallion achieved an average score of 8.21 in the sport test in Verden, with both his walk and rideability rewarded with an 8.5. Fiji was bred by Stal Zwaansbroek in Nieuw-Vennep. His dam Happy-Times ZB is a sister of the internationally successful Grand Prix horse Crocket Times by Sorento.

Ridden by Kim Alting, Fiji competed very successfully in the Pavo Cup 2025, finishing third in the final. Through this performance, Fiji was selected for the KWPN performance test, which he successfully completed in the autumn of 2025. During the test, Fiji stood out as a stallion with great presence and appearance, highly focused and very responsive to his rider’s aids. His walk is a pure four-beat gait with plenty of overtrack and good use of the body. The trot shows good suspension and body use, with a well-engaging hind leg, while the foreleg is placed elegantly with ample freedom of the shoulder. The canter is balanced, with an active and powerful hind leg. Thanks to his willing attitude and good rideability, Fiji is very easy to ride and train.

Fiji also fully meets expectations in breeding. The KWPN offspring report, summarised:
“Uniform collection. Well-developed, long-legged foals with blood expression. The walk is good, pure and active with very good overtrack. The trot is light-footed with good use of the foreleg; the hind leg shows flexion in the joints and provides sufficient carrying power. The canter is balanced, with sufficient scope and a good three-beat rhythm. Fiji presented a number of above-average moving foals.”
