Kanté is the first KWPN-approved Trakehner stallion with premium status since Gribaldi. A chic, blood-rich stallion, he was approved by the Trakehner Verband in 2024, awarded premium status, and recognised by multiple studbooks. His pedigree traces back to top sires such as Millennium and Easy Game, making him a valuable contributor to modern dressage breeding.

During the Trakehner Saddle Championship 2025, ridden by Phoebe Peters, Kanté stood out remarkably. The licensing committee described him as a stallion who “moves regally in all gaits, is light-footed, shows a very expressive trot, a dynamic walk, and a beautiful forward canter – three fantastic gaits!” Kanté was crowned Trakehner Saddle Champion, a recognition of his rideability, presence, and quality.

At the KWPN performance test, Kanté also impressed:
"Kanté is a friendly and willing stallion who responds well to the rider’s aids and remains focused during work. His walk is a spacious, relaxed four-beat with plenty of dynamism. The trot shows good two-beat rhythm, with correct engagement of the hind leg and balanced posture. The canter is active and self-carrying, already showing good engagement, and exhibits a forward, uphill tendency. Over the back, he moves lightly and relaxed, in a quiet connection, and remains stable and consistent in all gaits."

Kanté is a young, blood-typed stallion who can contribute to pedigree diversity, improve rideability, enhance the walk, and add lightness to dressage breeding. With his impressive pedigree, natural movement, and excellent character, Kanté is a highly interesting stallion for modern dressage breeding.
