Mauro Turfhorst N.O.P.T. and Dinja van Liere had a fantastic 2025 season. Competing at Light Tour – Intermediaire I, they repeatedly proved themselves among the top contenders, achieving victories and championships on both national and international levels. The pair won Indoor Brabant in the Light Tour, triumphed at the CDI Exloo, and were crowned CDI Inter I Aachen winners. In addition, they became Dutch Champions in Light Tour – Intermediaire I. This impressive list of achievements underscores the consistent quality and talent of Mauro Turfhorst N.O.P.T.

This black stallion, bred by Jan Greve from Haaksbergen, can rightly be called a top talent. He showed his potential early: as reserve champion at the KWPN performance test, he scored 84 points with an excellent report. He was a finalist at the World Championships for Young Dressage Horses at ages five, six, and seven, and in 2024, under Dinja van Liere, he won silver at the Dutch Championships ZZ-Zwaar and finished fourth in the 7-year-old World Championship final. This success continued seamlessly into the Light Tour.

His sire, the Grand Prix stallion Glock’s Zonik, imparts talent and power, while his dam Hidaylia descends from the influential Negro, from a dam line that produced Grand Prix stallions Scandic and Gribaldi – the renowned performance-rich Daula line.

In addition to his sport talent, Mauro Turfhorst N.O.P.T. also contributes significantly to breeding. His offspring are typy, complete, and well-conformed, with excellent presence and movement quality. He produces strong, well-developed foals with sporting potential and a good character. In 2025, he was also awarded N.O.P.T. status, recognising his exceptional quality and potential for the Dutch dressage sport and breeding.
