Succession

The five-year-old Succession was approved with a premium by the DSP in January 2023. At the inspection, this jet-black stallion was a true crowd favorite. The DSP jury praised him with comments such as: “A dressage horse of the highest quality,” highlighting his elegant type, harmonious conformation, and exceptional movement.

Under the saddle of Dinja van Liere, Succession is developing into a very promising sport horse. Dinja admires his attitude, willingness to work, and the trust he gives her: “He gives an amazing feeling, especially his attitude and willingness to work, which is impressively positive.” The pair qualified for the Subli Cup finals at Jumping Amsterdam in both 2024 and 2025. In 2024, Succession placed third among the four-year-olds with a score of 84.08 points.

Succession is a son of the popular Secret, who himself won silver at the 2019 World Championships for five-year-olds and earned multiple medals at the Bundeschampionate with scores above 9. His dam, the Hanoverian Hauptstutbuch mare Dancina, descends from the sire Dancier and the state-premium mare Ela (Espri x Obris xx). Ela is a full sister to the Grand Prix horse Eastman and half-sister to the approved Hanoverian stallion Arrian (v. Al Capone). Succession therefore combines proven top-quality sport bloodlines.

His offspring also show great promise, displaying both type and expressive movement, with natural suppleness and a beautiful forward-going trot. Succession combines elegant conformation, powerful gaits, and a strong work ethic with a proven bloodline of international caliber.
