DSP Stallion Selection Committee member Jörg Schrödter: “A dressage horse of the very best quality”
The three-year-old son of Secret out of the Hanoverian Hauptstutbuch mare Dancina (Dancier x Espri) was approved with a premium at the DSP in January. At the auction, the striking, lacquer-black stallion was loved by the buyers.
DSP stallion selection committee member Jörg Schrödter was full of praise for Succession. "A dressage horse of the very best quality. He is light-footed, always in balance and you can imagine that you can always ride him in perfect contact," says Schrödter. "A horse that I am absolutely happy with."
Succession, bred by Wolfgang Reich from Heidenheim, is a son of the very popular Secret in Germany. The son of three-time world champion of the young dressage horses Sezuan won silver at the 2019 World Championships for five-year-olds. Secret was also successful at the Bundeschampionate in 2017 and 2019 with a second place in the final for the three-year-olds and a first place for the six-year-olds with final marks well over 9. Secret has now made a name for itself in breeding with 37 approved and recognized sons and 47 state premium and premium mares. In sports, Secrets children have already collected more than 24,000 euros.
The Hanoverian Hauptstutbuch mare Dancina is the mother of Succession. She is from the dressage horse supplier Dancier from the State Premium mare Ela (Espri x Obris xx). Ella is the full sister of the Grand Prix horse Eastman and the half-sister of the approved Hanoverian stallion Arrian (s. Al Capone). The dam line also produced the approved stallions Varus (by Vollkorn xx) and van Gogh Du Val (by Fürst Romancier) as well as several well-performing show jumpers.
