Impressive foals
Vaderland
Dinja: “Vaderland is a real tough powerhouse.”
Our Vaderland is approved in Westphalia, Hanover and Oldenburg. Vaderland was one of the three reserve champions at the Westphalian stallion selection. The Vitalis son completed the 14-day test in Adelheidsdorf in the spring of 2019 with an excellent dressage-oriented final mark, an 8.74, the second best dressage result. He received an 8.0 for his walk and trot, and a whopping 9.5 for his canter. Character, temperament and willingness to work were rewarded with a 9.25. He received a 9.75 for his rideability.
Vaderland also performed well in the sports test in Münster-Handorf in March 2020. He finished fourth with an average of 8.48. He received an 8.5 for the walk and canter. For Rittigkeit and overall impression, the stallion scored 8.6. Vaderland won bronze in the final of the Oldenburger Reitpferdechampionat.
Vaderland's sire, Vitalis, is now a top dressage horse sire and very popular all over the world. With his expensive offspring he dominated the German auction(s) in Münster-Handorf, produced numerous elite mares and has more than 20 approved sons to date. In 2016, his daughter Victoria Secret became World Champion in the five-year-old dressage horses. Vitalis himself celebrated his sporting comeback under the saddle of Isabel Freese and won the Nürnberger Burgpokal.
Vaderland's dam is the provisional 'keur' mare Vechta of the Grand Prix stallion Krack C out of the Contango daughter Nevada. Vechta also produced Impressive VDC (s. Charmeur) who was selected in 2020 with Sarah Mills for the canceled World Championships for young dressage horses. The ten-year-old gelding is now competing in the Grand Prix.
From the mare tribe comes the BWP approved stallion Heros Begijnhoeve (v. Vivaldi). Tommie Visser's international dressage horse Fanatique Begijnhoeve (PSG-Inter I) is also closely related to Vaderland. The dam line also produced the approved stallion Nachtwach (by Nocturn), Joilet (by El Corona) - Z dress, Diavola (by Diamo) - 1.30m spr. and Avalanche (by Tjungske) - 135m. spr.
Vaderland's foals immediately stand out with their beautiful mountain-up appearance and strong movements. They are popular at auctions and some have already sold for a high price. For example, 30,000 euros was paid for his daughter (out of a mother of Fairytale) at the auction 'Reiten gegen den Hunger' in Balve. His son Professor W.S. the most expensive at 23,000 euros.
His son Valdez was the most expensive dressage foal of the DSP Online Auction, in Münster-Handorf he delivered one of the top prizes with Veni Vidi Vici who sold for 22,500. His daughter Valena moved to Great Britain for 16,500 euros. Vaderland therefore enjoys great popularity among breeders!
Dinja van Liere has taken on the training of Vaderland. In the summer of 2022 Vaderland qualified for the Bundeschampionat, he achieved no less than 86.8% during the selection competition. Dinja: “Vaderland is a tough powerhouse. He has three good gaits and a very strong foreleg. He has a lot of strength in walking. I immediately clicked with him.”
