Vuelta, the impressive Vitalis son out of a Fürst Jazz x Stedinger dam, immediately drew attention at the 2024 Westfalen stallion inspection and was convincingly named champion. From the very first viewing, his presence stood out: a stallion with charisma, breed type, and an outstanding movement mechanism.
The jury praised him highly: “Here we have something very special. A stallion with great breed and excellent basic gaits. In the canter, he shows a fantastic active hind leg and carries the withers perfectly. In trot, we see rhythm, shoulder freedom, strong knee action, and a perfectly engaged hind leg. All the qualities you expect from a champion come together here!”
His sire, the influential Elite stallion Vitalis, is known for his exceptional offspring and has produced numerous international dressage horses and approved sons. Vuelta combines Vitalis’ proven quality with the finesse and elegance of his dam line. His dam, a daughter of Fürst Jazz, produced Vuelta as her first foal. Granddam Shakira (by Stedinger) comes from a line that has produced multiple Grand Prix horses, underlining Vuelta’s sporting potential.
Under saddle, Vuelta is developing into a promising sport horse. He shows a willing character, great suppleness, very powerful movement, and a natural ability to collect and transition. Vuelta possesses an exemplary movement mechanism.
