Escador

Escador is a striking young dressage stallion with a modern appearance and an exceptionally interesting pedigree. He is by the highly promising Extreme US, combined with the proven dressage sire Dancier, and comes from a strong, performance-oriented dam line.

In 2025, Escador was approved by the Hanoverian studbook, where he impressed with his correct conformation, strong topline and expressive way of moving. On the lunge, he presented himself as a stallion with plenty of self-carriage, natural balance and a notable presence. His performance was characterised by suppleness, lightness and an excellent use of the foreleg.

Escador has a modern, athletic model with an attractive front. In movement, in addition to a large, expressive foreleg, his powerful and active hind leg stands out, stepping well underneath the body. The trot shows ample suspension and expression, while the canter is uphill, with plenty of scope, carrying power and balance. The walk is pure, spacious and relaxed.

Not only his sire line is impressive; Escador’s dam line is exceptionally strong as well. This lineage has produced, among others, the licensed stallions Glock’s Energy (by Esamillo) and Kilian (by Sir Donnerhall). In addition, the dam line has produced multiple Grand Prix horses and successful sport horses, underlining the breeding strength and durability of this family.

Escador was also selected for Den Bosch (KWPN), demonstrating that he fits very well within the Dutch breeding objectives as well. His combination of modern dressage aptitude, strong movement and appealing character makes him broadly usable in breeding.
