Lowlands OLD

This eight-year-old Oldenburger stallion was approved in Vechta in 2018 for the Oldenburger studbook. In 2019 he became reserve champion of the performance exam in Ermelo with 87.5 points and was also approved for the KWPN. Lowlands OLD is now also approved at the Westphalian, Hanoverian and Rheinland studbooks.

Lowlands’ OLD regular rider Dinja van Liere is very successful with this stallion. Lowlands OLD was always classified at the top both in Germany (Bundeschampionat qualification, reserve World Cup for young dressage horses) and in the Netherlands (Pavo Cup, stallion competition). In 2023, Dinja won the stallion competition in ‘s Hertogenbosch and the combination became reserve champion at the Dutch ZZ-Zwaar Championships. Lowlands OLD has now won his first Prix St. Georg test and nothing seems to stand in the way of Dinja and Lowlands OLD on their way to the Grand Prix.

Lowlands OLD comes from the best German bloodlines. His sire is the popular Easy Game son Millennium, who already produced several champions at German stallion licensing shows. In Lowlands OLD he gets his first son who is approved by the KWPN.

The damline of Lowlands OLD is equally impressive. His dam, La Donna S is an elite state premium mare and was selected for the prestigious ‘Brilliantring’ at the Oldenburger Elite mare Show in Rastede. In addition to Lowlands OLD, she has produced two more approved sons, Dantes Dancer and Dantes Specter, a Prix St. Georg daughter and an elite foal. Grandmother Lucy is the mother of three state premium mares and the Grand Prix dressage horse Nora ridden by Christa Larmoyeur. Lucy is also the half-sister of the Grand Prix dressage horse Exquis Escapado, ridden by Carl Hester and Hans Peter Minderhoud. There are also coming a number of approved stallions from this damline, as well as successful sport horses up to Grand Prix level.
