McLaren OLD N.OP.T. is the stunning, movement-strong son of Oldenburg Champion stallion and Burgpokal finalist Morricone I. Bred by Ulf Tönjes, he stands out for his elastic, light-footed gaits and impressive hind-leg engagement. Under saddle, he demonstrates enormous balance, an impressive ‘go’, and an uncomplicated, willing character, making him highly interesting both sport-wise and for breeding.

Under Dinja van Liere, McLaren OLD N.O.P.T. has achieved multiple successes. The pair won the KWPN Stallion Competition in the Light and Medium Tour, while their debut in ZZ-Licht in 2023 concluded with a winning score of over 77%. In 2025, they made their Light Tour debut nationally and internationally, confirming McLaren OLD N.O.P.T.’s sporting talent and Grand Prix potential.

McLaren OLD N.O.P.T. also excels in breeding. In 2025, three of his sons were licensed—two with the KWPN and one with Mecklenburg-Vorpommern—an impressive achievement underlining his value as a sire. His offspring are proving themselves under saddle as well: his daughter McMary won the PAVO Cup 2025 and was also named best mare of the competition, while his daughter Romy achieved the highest IBOP score in Lisse with 86.5 points. McLaren OLD N.O.P.T. himself has been awarded N.O.P.T. status, recognising his exceptional quality and potential for Dutch dressage sport and breeding.

McLaren OLD N.O.P.T. has an exceptional pedigree: his sire Morricone I is a champion stallion, while his dam Samatha is a state premium mare by the top sire Sir Donnerhall I, descending from Hauptstutbuch mare Gamita (Akzent II x Weltmeister). In addition to McLaren OLD N.O.P.T., Samatha produced two Light Tour horses and the Grand Prix horse Tokayer, active in the USA.
